Kryeo builds online stores end to end: the catalogue, the checkout, payments, fulfilment, and the integrations that keep the operation running. We work on open-source Medusa, on Shopify's Storefront API, and on other commerce backends, and we hand over code and infrastructure you own.
What an ecommerce build includes
A store is more than a product grid and a cart. A real build covers:
- Catalogue: product data model, variants, collections, merchandising, and a content layer so marketing can build pages without a developer.
- Checkout: the flow, address and shipping logic, discounts, gift cards, and the payment integration. Custom where your model needs it, standard where it does not.
- Payments and tax: Stripe or your processor, automated tax where relevant, and the reconciliation your finance team needs.
- Fulfilment: shipping rates, label generation or 3PL handoff, returns, and inventory that stays accurate across channels.
- Back-office integrations: ERP, PIM, CRM, and analytics, built as proper integrations rather than fragile scripts.
- Performance and SEO: server-rendered pages, fast on mobile, with structured data and clean URLs.
Choosing the stack
There is no single right platform. The decision comes from your requirements:
| Kryeo | Themed platform store | |
|---|---|---|
| Standard catalogue and checkout | Headless is overkill; a themed store is faster and cheaper | A good fit |
| Custom storefront experience | Headless, with a custom Next.js front end | Fights the theme system past a point |
| Non-standard pricing or checkout | Headless on Medusa, for full control of the logic | Limited to what apps and platform APIs allow |
| Removing revenue-share fees at scale | Self-hosted Medusa; infrastructure cost only | Percentage of sales continues |
Replatforming
Moving off a platform you have outgrown is a project we run often. The approach:
- Audit: catalogue, integrations, custom logic, traffic, and the URL map.
- Model: the new data model and the migration scripts, tested against staging.
- Rebuild: storefront, checkout, and integrations, reviewed on staging throughout.
- SEO plan: redirects for every changed URL, preserved metadata and structured data, a page-speed target, and a crawl comparison.
- Cutover: a tested, reversible launch, then monitoring.

FAQ
Ecommerce Development: common questions
Both. If a themed Shopify store fits your needs, that is often the right, cheapest answer and we will tell you so. When you need a custom storefront, non-standard checkout or pricing, or you want to remove a revenue-share fee, we build headless, with a custom front end on Medusa or on Shopify's Storefront API.
